As Branch Manager of Cherry Creek Mortgage STL, Doug Haldeman expects a lot from his employees and from himself. He has a vision of what he wants Cherry Creek STL to be, and that vision includes mortgage lenders who are fully dedicated to their clients. Dougs mission is to make every Cherry Creek STL client a Client for Life.

By focusing on employee training and client satisfaction, Doug insists that his employees are carefully trained to be trusted financial advisors who are well-versed on all of the available mortgage products and programs. He also urges them to focus on giving their clients solid advice that best fits their needs, and is not just a means to generate the highest commission for the company. He feels that by taking this highly-trained, client-first approach, his dedicated, qualified staff is headed for certain success. Teaching is also part of Dougs approach. As a Certified Trainer he teaches Mortgage 101 for the state, which includes residential lending and the basics about the mortgage industry. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Missouri Columbia, and is a three time Alumnus of the Year for the Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Association. Hes also a member of the UMSL Greek Alumni Advisory Board.

Born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, Doug has been in the mortgage industry since 1996. Although he went to school to be a mechanical engineer, he soon discovered he preferred working with people and math, instead of machines and math. Doug feels that his training as a mechanical engineer helps him memorize statistics and come up with creative solutions for the trickiest of mortgage problems. Doug also has a solid knowledge base in financial planning and focuses on managing liabilities to match appropriate debt structures.

Some of Dougs other credentials include the Presidential Award of Merit from the MAMB, a listing in 1999s International Whos Who of Professionals, membership in the Presidents Council for the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and his license as a Real Estate Agent which he received in 2001.

Doug is married to Angela and they have five children, Garrett, Ashleigh, Evan, Nathan and their newest addition Morgan Rose. When hes not working, Dougs favorite thing to do is spend time with his family. He also trains in the gym and plays competitive sports, plus he is an active real estate investor who manages both long-term rentals and rehab properties.
